Mongiovi and Son History

Mongiovi & Son Plumbing was established in 1982.  At the age of 21 Rick Mongiovi was a Registered Master Plumber, starting his business working out of his mothers garage in Ingram, Pa.  In 1984 Rick moved his business onto Carson St. In 1987 Rick moved his business to McKees Rocks across from Lockhart Steel located on River Road. In 2000 Rick built an three story office building located in Kennedy Township. This is the corporate headquarters of all three divisions of Mongiovi & Son: Plumbing, Excavating, Fire Protection.  Today Mongiovi & Son has 80 employees through out all three divisions and is also listed in the "Pittsburgh Business Times" as one of the fastest growing companies, and named as one of the top 50 "Best Places to Work" in 2008.
